Where is the ir receiver?

I just got a mx-850 remote with the flashers so I'd like to know exactly where to put the flasher. Behind the smoked plastic of the 811 I see three possibilities. Two circles and a square with a circle inside it. I imagine one is the ir reciever, one is the ir blaster and the final one is the rf receiver. But in what order?

Its actually IR Blaster, IR receiver and IR blaster.

So the receiver is the middle circle?

Also: The 811 creates a lot of IR noise. Is it because of those two blasters? And if so, what if I removed the faceplate and covered them up? Think it would help?
