Where is my remote access? Where is my built in slingbox?

We've had ethernet ports on our DVRs for a long time.

How come there's no web interface?
Why can't I program my DVR from my phone or laptop?

Further, Dish Network's sister company is Slingmedia, right?
Why don't we have built in Slingbox yet?

I just want Web programming access. Gosh it seems like they did the private beta on that late last year. Knowing how Echostar works (as I used to support them as a Vendor) I'm sure everything is taking its own sweet time and has 85 levels of approvals.
