When to buy Direct?

I'm about ready to jump to Direct from Comcast. I'm an RV'er and I want two dishes, one extra for my RV, and the HD channels have me jacked for home Plasma. My question is timing??? Right now Direct perks are NFL Channel and that does not interest me. Direct has 6 days left on this promo. Should I hold out for the next promo? this promo thing with Direct is new to me. I have a huge home show here in Seattle this weekend. Are they vunerable at these shows???

Your thread title is incorrect it shouls be when to LEASE D*? Promotions are national so there is no better offer at trade shows unless a dealer wants to offer part of their commission as an additional gift. The current promotion is the best offer for D* customers IF you want Premier package programming it saves "$400" or it saves nothing if you only want "CHOICE".

NEXT promotion will save you $120/$10 off for 12 mo. in fact it is the same offer that was offerred for the First Quarter of 2007. Not much imaginization on D* part.
