When did Dish add the Discovery Military Channel?

Just saw an advert for this channel last nite for the first time. When did they add it?

It was a name change!! Used to be discovery wings

They already had the channel...it used to be called Discovery Wings...Discovery just renamed the channel, and i suppose changed the programming a bit. I downgraded to AT120 several months back, so I dont get it anymore.

It has been since at least beginning of 2005. However, it took Dish a few weeks to change the channel name in the channel guide to "MLTRY" from "DWINGS"

Discovery Networks changed the channel name (from Wings to The Military Channel) on 1/12/05.
Dish changed the EPG from DWNGS to MLTRY on 1/26/05

Thanks for the information guys. I guess if I would have stopped and looked for a moment I would have figured out that Discovery Wings was gone. I did watch some of the channel yesterday and I kept thinking "they sure do have a lot of aircraft programming on", but it never occured to me that I was watching DWINGS. Funny thing is I took that out of my Favorites List a long time ago and added it back in yesterday thinking it was a new channel.
