Looking to change my 510 to a 722 and was wondering if i'm going to need the installer to climb on the roof near chimney. We currenly have snow on the roof. I know my outside dish is a twin dp and I get 110 and 119 sats. I'm looking for HD channels. I currently only watch one TV (But it's a big one!!). Can someone link me to more info on what's going to be required for my upgrade. ie, hardware, switches, equipment. CS told me to talk to the installer. CS is you know....CS. TIA

I also might buy equip to save on contract terms!

You currently have a dish looking at two satellites.

For HD you need to see three satellites, so the tech will either add a solo dish for 129 or 61.5 or change your current dish out for a D1000.2 or D1000.4.

Our current setup is two wires run through the walls to the 510, but only one is being used. Do you think we will need a switch, splitter?

Question about Jumping to the other side

Goodfield will be next Dish exec to leave
