This thread is for the purpose of telling us what song is currently playing on your iPod. What song are you currently in love with? What's hot? Which song did you recently download, purchase or transfer into your collection? What do you recommend to the other music lovers out there?

I'm a big fan of music, new and old. I'm always looking for something new to listen to. Feel free to give a mini review or background info on your most recent download......

I'll go first....

Band: Kaiser Chiefs

Album: Off With Their Heads

The 2 songs: "Never Miss a Beat" & "Good Days Bad Days".

Genre: British Indie Rock/ Alternative

I originally heard these songs on Sirus' Alt Nation, then had to download them. Very catchy and upbeat songs. Recommended if you're into this type of music.

It hasn't made it to the ipod yet, as I only got it last night, but listening to the new Green Day 21st Century Breakdown on itunes.

So far, so good. :)

At this very moment, it's not a song. It's the Rowdy Racing News Nascar podcast. Love those guys.

Songs though, too many to list. I go any where from Crystal Method, to Tim McGraw.

This is whats currently playing on mine.

I love ELO. Its the only band that I really like that I have never been able to see live. :(

I don't have a Ipod, I use my cell phone to listen to music. I have way to many bands to name. I don't download music, I just use songs from my CDs.

This is the last song I listened to.

I have never had a MP3 player until I got my G1 Phone. I use for Podcasts, but I am begining to think about getting some mp3. Stoopid me didn't jump on the Napster bandwagon in the early days. That's what I get for caring about my soul.

But I have been listing to The Cars greatest hits. Funny thing is that there seems to be about 3 or 4 greatest hits albums. I picked up one at Walmart yesterday for under $7 (what a bargain). But there are like two or three songs on there that are just not hits, and there are a few that are absent. Ugh. I guess I'll 99¢ those few and just download them from Amazon or Rhapsody.

Purchasing MP3's are convenient. Especially with an intuitive platform like iTunes. Nowadays, a lot of bands don't put out albums where every song is good. It's great to be able to pick and choose which songs you want without having to commit to the whole album. For bands I really like though, I still buy CD's. I just then transfer all the songs onto the iPod. Much more convenient than lugging around a book of CD's.

No IPod as I dont need one since I have my Touch Pro. But I am listening to some MP3s of Bubba the Love Sponge from last week that I missed :)

Well for the whole 48 hours that my first gen 1 gig shuffle worked it was in no particular order:

Nikka Costa,
Sneaker Pimps ( becoming X the only good album they had before they dumped Kelli Ali who has the best female voice in the industry )
Gorillaz
Chemical Brother's
Prodigy
Jamerique
Outkast
Nora Jones
Rollins Band
The Cure
KMFDM
My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult
NIN
David Bowie
For Love Not Lisa
Jane Sibery
The Jesus And Marry Chain
Machines of Loving Grace
Medicine
Pantera
Rage Against The Machine
Stone Temple Pilots
Violent Femmes

So now my shuffle is serving duty as a booster for vista because the headphone jack broke and in taking apart the case to solder it the power switch broke and really I can't find where its at on the back of the logic board.
