In looking over the new E10 spotbeam maps at http://ekb.dbstalk.com/297 I noticed that Spotbeam 39 (LA/SD) has transponder 31 listed (Tony mentioned this as well in an earlier thread), however http://www.dishchannelchart.com/ doesn't indicate that any stations are on this transponder, even in the testing state.
That brings to my mind the question of what they're going to put there. Are they taking LA minors off 119?
What gives?
Note: The Echostar_X_Launch_Dates.xls file that Scott posted a month ago might give some hints, but I don't understand the difference between the 4 digit transponder and the two digit transponder codes. Any suggestions?
