I had until recently played everquest 2 and then restarted wow until I found out that it brought together the two monsters that murdered Riley Ann Sawyer and a thread on the games forums had alot of people that made cold jokes about it. So now Im bored, I have a handful of games that I play but nothing really does it for me and I want to find something worth playing that is has more to it than point click shoot kill repeat.

Maybe we need to get a group from here to get on a server on WOW and make a SatGuys guild that might make it more fun.. I just restarted and i am out of practice to play my 60 priest, and the newbie zones are desolate....

Guild banks make friends/alt guilds a lot more fun.

WoW is still my game of choice, casually playing, but not enough to join any kind of serious raid guild, and not into PVP enough to get into an arena team and get my 'free epics'.

I miss EQ so much, played it for several years, and since quitting and leaving that sense of community behind, I've had MMO ADD... I can't stick to a single game, and bounce from one to another. Between instancing, the introduction of single serving groups (a la Fight Club's single serving friends... 'can you help me with this quest?' you kill something and group is over) there just is not a sense of server community in many games.

I heard that gear in the new expansion is so good that it makes catching up not all that much of a crime or burden on the guild you're playing with. Not sure I could really return to it though... my old guild is gone as of January I think it was :(

I'm on Proudmoore, and have learned my lesson about playing with friends. WoW is a very transient game, and even if you got a couple people from here to play on the same server, it's the friends you make in-game that keep you there. I transfered servers once with a couple of my toons to play with my old guildleader from EQ and a small contingent of former guildmates... was fun briefly, but people lost interest due to the way the game was set up at the time (no middle ground... the entire endgame was UBRS and Molten Core really... no progression).

Things fell apart, and I quit for a while too even, went to EQ2 which was fun, but interest waned, so I rejoined my fiance in WoW.... which is the only MMO she's ever played.

I understand that.. but to start out with a few of us withnewbie toons working together would be cool.. I just dont feel up to par with my skills to jump into Outland with my priest, and there is NOBODY out there in the low level areas to even try and group with/have fun.

I sold my WoW char for 1k , I played since release ( give it or take a month after).
World of Warcraft been fun, but it got boring after 2 years.
I've been in the end game content including Hyjal/Black Temple, its repetitive, most of my friends quit, I use to be in the top 50 for arena 2v2.
Selling WoW was the best thing I've ever done, It gives me more time for study, and work. S**** I even use to call in @ work for World of Warcraft, thats how bad things got when there was the race for Grand Marshal.
I still have some friends that I keep in touch with over email from World of Warcraft.

So right now Im playing these,

Shaiya in closed beta
Darkeden in closed beta
Talisman online open beta
Zero online
Redmoon classic
wulframm II
Goonzu online
Skyblade elite
Entropia universe
LuniaGSP

Sitting on a few others right now that fell to the way side and some of the above have aswell but nothing is really catching me right now.
