what sat to use

I am having my roof redone.
The roofer took my satellite dish down before I remembered to check what sat it were pointed at.
I beleive I was pointed at 101 but am not sure.
I have an older Sony Dish and 2 D-10 receivers connected to them
The systen was woking really well before we had to remove the dishes.

What Sat should I point to that will offer me the best channel selection?

I do also have an older WNC 3 LNB dish but have never used it.

You have no choice....101 it is for SD service.
Make sure that the mast goes back exactly plumb! The elevation setting is probably ok for tuning. Reset the dish plumb and losen the back bolts a little to swing through the compass line (azimuth) for your zip code.

If you reinstall the dish and the mast is plumb, then you should be able to repoint by not adjusting the elevation

I followed your suggestions and it is up and running with signalstrength from the high 80%'s to the mid 90%'s.
