What is this all about?? Hdcp?

I tried playing a recorded show on my hopper and it came up with this and won't play... 99% of my other recordings will play but some recordings won't. Has anyone else seen this?

Btw I do understand what it is saying just don't understand why this just started happening...

Your HDMI cable is either LOOSE on either end, or has gone bad. Just reseat it and see what happens.

When you reset it, do it from both ends. And if nogo, reset tv and reciever.

Do you have that receiver split to more than one TV? Certain channels will not allow programming to be mirrored to multiple TVs. The Disney family of channels has this and so do some premium movie channels.

Splitting HDMI is usually not a problem. However, it will happen if you are using HDMI AND Component. In order to have the component set work correctly, the HDMI set must be turned on.

I get this problem a lot in my display room since I have one receiver mirrored off to multiple TVs with HDMI and Component. It can be a pain.

I just hook up the Hooper, the new name since you have to jump hoops to make it work right, to the TV using component/optical and rf mirror the composite, no hdcp issues

It only the bravo channel for the most part and it's not the hdmi and I am not splitting.
