Got in on one of the Sirius deals last year and paid for a year up front. My 1 yr is coming up on this xmas so what happens?

-Does Sirius automatically bill me for another year
-Do they bill me month to month
-Do I get a noticifcation and choose
-Do I have to call them and reup for another year?

well lets throw a twist into it

I want to re-up (love Hair Nation) but I want to get a new receiver (the one I have is OK but want something with some more features)...is there a transfer fee to switch units?

I got the "block" type unit (the square one that Wally World was selling) and I'd like one with a remote....I checked my account and I can up for 2 years or lifetime but that's the only options for now.

You can transfer recievers without a problem.. I think the first one is free, but additional ones have a fee..

What you can do is if they wont let you transfer it for whatever reason, let it expire.. and resubscribe with the new reciever.. It will have a $10 activation fee if done on the web..

Or, you can always tell them your reciever is broken, and you are replacing it with a new one, they really dont have a choice but to waive a move fee then :)

Excellent XM vs Sirius Comparison Chart

Digital radio still hard to hear (HD Radio)
