Has anybody heard anything about this lately?
After reading that Netflix is going to offer HD-DVDs when they become available I got to wondering what has happen to the Netflix and TIVO venture. With the TIVO series 3 to be released the 2nd half of 2006 it seems like it would be a perfect solution for the ones that are waiting on a winner of the HD-DVD & BluRay format war.
I know the Series 3 will not be compatible with the Sat companies. Only OTA, cable & internet from what I understand. If this combo would happen I probably would switch back to cable in a second. TWC here, has gone completely digital and has better PQ than D* now. Now if they would get a user-friendly DVR and add UHD I would be all set.
