What DVI/HDMI cable to buy for 921 & 34" Dish HDTV

Have an install date this Friday from Dish to add the 921 & 34' crt $999 promo. (Will be displacing one of my 508's). Specifically which cable should I buy... DVI male to HDMI male or is it DVI male to HDMI female? Can anyone that currently has this set up confirm the specs and will the enhanced cable offer a better picture for converting both SD & HDTV?. (I assume the only cables that come with the HD in a box package are component). Thanks!
