What does OAR mean?

Pardon my ignorance. I have seen the acronym OAR in reference to HD movies, but I have no idea what they are referring to.

It's Original Aspect Ratio. The proportion of screen width and hight, the way the movie was intended by its director. (Before it was cropped to fit the frame of your TV set. )
