What do I do?

I live in Trinidad and Tobago. I want to get Direct TV from the US that has English programming. Latin america currently has its own version of Direct TV that is mostly in spanish. Is there a way that i can use a US direct tv reciever to get the US signal? What kind of satellite dish would i need?
