You probably right. It has been many years since I have seen a DH dish. They weren't very popular on the west coast.

The factory may use the same front mould for multiple reflector designs and change out the rear mould depending if solid, four or eight petal sectional design.

I see that too, but when I looked on the back of the dish there was no seams. I think they offered the dish both ways, maybe this is some factory markings telling them where to chop it up. I really don't know though.
Possibly a reinforcing crimp to add a little stiffness to the reflector,just a wild ass guess :biggrin

What looks like what could be seams is likely the back braces. True that DH offers some of their spun reflectors in pieces. They cut the one-piece reflector and weld flanges to each section. BTW, as far as I know DH only uses the back braces on reflectors larger than 3.0m so this one is likely a 3.3m or 3.7m.
