What are the chances that I do not get reception with a mifi?

I live in farm country where my closest neighbor is about a mile from me

Depends on were you are and how you are trying to use it. If you have it in the home kit and have the antenna either outside or pointed correctly out a window you should have no issues. If your trying to roam around inside the house with it using the built in or clip on antenna that might not work.

However you should be able to use it outside with the clip on with no issues.
