What am I getting in equipment?

On the dish builder I put in that I have two hdtv's, and want to record hdtv.
This is the final breakdown:

HD-DVR receiver $199.99

Extra Receiver Fee: $6.00


Monthly Total: $110.99

What is the "extra receiver" fee? Is it for the one 622, or are they figuring in a second non-dvr hd receiver for the second hdtv?

Thats what it looks like. You are getting the 622 to record off of and then just a regular HD receiver. Were you looking to get 2 622's? I think thats nearly impossible from reading many of the posts on here but some have done it. They had to wait awhile though.

Also, is there any savings with picking the DishHD Platinum @ $99.99 package as to a lesser HD package, as far as fee's go? I know now with directv tv, if you have the complete movie package (hbo, sho, starz, etc) they wave the tivo service fee (or something like that).

ps. What non-dvr hd receiver you getting now (model#)?
