Hello
I have 5 or 6 episodes of the West Wing on Bravo recorded. As I viewed 2 of them I could not understand the audio. It had a reverb type delay that made it totally unintelligible.

Did this happen to anyone else?

I have the Latino Max package.

Thanks,
N

doughboy. wow...kind of a harsh band aid for the problem, no? I recorded this morning and it is fine.

Wanna make me copies of the dvd's? :) For backup, of course....

I've been watching the reruns and have not had any audio problems with those (I have problems with ABC). I have the HD-only pkg.

Nabril,
Yes, we have been having audio problems on Bravo. We don't watch West Wing but the last episode of Project Runway that my wife watched had the same reverb/synthesizer sound that you described. It started about half way thru the show. The audio was so annoying that we had to stop watching! Project Runway was on again later that night (2 or 3 am) so I re-recorded it. Guess what, the whole show still had the reverb/synthesizer sound track! The show was on again the next day, and this time it did not have the problem.

We have been seeing this problem on other channels as well (usually a local channel) and is sometimes accompanied by video breakup (macro-blocking & momentary drop-outs). The video breakup only occurs at the start of the audio problem. The video clears up, but the audio problem remains.

I posted the issue to Dish support, and I got the usual generic response "..we gave it to engineering for them to work it out."

Hopefully they will. I dont want to go and buy 250 of dvd's like my friend tinydoughboy :)
