hi,
i have a legacy 2800 dish network receiver which is connected to a dishpro adapter onto a super dish. And all I have is one international channel which is at sat 121, tr 18.
everything was working just fine until recently. Then something strange started happening. At about 12:30 PM (I am not making this up!) EST, I suddenly lose signal to this channel. When I do a signal check it then shows me zero signal on 121, tr 18. Then I find that I am able to get a signal strength for only the odd numbered transponders.
And by about 8 PM EST, everything comes back to normal!
I did see related posts about people getting only even or odd transponders, but my question is why do I lose signal strengths for these even transponders only during this particular time? This same behavior has been going on for a few weeks now.
Other than calling up Dish, with whom I have never had a good experience with, can someone suggest anything else which I can check myself? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot, folks.
