In the next 24 hours the time we have all been waiting for impatiently since May will be upon us -- the start of the fall tv season. Oh sure, this week we only get a small taste of the new shows, with FOX and CBS premiering some of their shows. But I was thinking that with the start of the new season and the recent new blogging capability that we have on SatelliteGuys that this is the perfect time to launch a new feature.
We are all SatelliteGuys because we love watching television. And we have a very active discussion that goes on throughout the year about our favorite shows.
What I am proposing is that several of us begin to actively blog about the episodes we like; the ideas that we love; the concepts we think are stupid (can I say Geiko cavemen, etc... We have the blogging technology, why not use it.
And then... when you post a new blog about a tv show, you can also post a link to it in a special thread we'll have in the TV Programming (most likely Network HD programming) forums. That way people will know that there are new blogs.
This won't eliminate the individual show discussion threads, but will add just a little extra "value-added" content. And we'll also put up references to the blogs in the site's front page.
So who is game to give this experiment a try? If you are, reply and give us a sense of what shows you think you will be blogging about.
I'll definitely do it; and will start with a blog on Bionic Woman (which I have had the opportunity to preview).
This week Prison break, K-Ville, Kid's Nation, and Survivor all start, plus a few others.
