This was supposed to be impossible but it showed up on the Digital converter box 3 days ago! :D

No we never said it was impossible just that it might take expensive set up. Ch 8 may have made some changes to their signal or atmospheric conditions maybe just right. Don't clap too loudly yet on June 12th they will move from CH9 back to Ch8 for their actual broadcast location so until that happens we won't really know what the signal will be.
How is your DTVPal DVR working? Is it reliable or do you get drop outs?

*Knock on wood* So far it's working great! The only problem we have had is the guide only shows what's coming on today but that's not a biggie. We can record 2 shows at once and that makes it nice since sometimes we watch 2 shows that come on at the same time.
Keeping our fingers crossed that we continue to get WFAA. The only channel we were missing was ABC.

Right now we are using 2-12 foot mast connected but during the last storm the mast bent slightly. I think we need to look for a steel 24 foot pole because of the wind we sometimes get.
