None of them really worth a dead rat's @ss except UHD and HBOHD. As far I can tell you have no Worldcinema nor Filmfest nor KungFu nor MOnstersHD etc, so I can't get really excited on this news...
I switched to TWC and get the InHD and HDnet channels. Within the next 72 hours here are some of the HD programs I would be interested in watching or recording, all of which I consider at least worth a rat's behind:
1. The Amazon - IMAX movie
2. Beavers - IMAX movie (no, not Playboy!)
3. Reggae Musicfest - 90 min. concert from Nov. 2004
4. Australia- Land Beyond Time - IMAX movie
5. Roy Orbison & Friends - 1987 concert
6. Starsailor Live at the Marconi - May, 2004 concert
7. Eurasian Empires - The History of Baghdad
8. Jethro Tull - Live at the Isle of Wight
9. History if the World Part I - Mel Brooks
10. Sting Inside - concert
11. Nothing But Trailers - in-theater movie previews
12. True Music - Brave Combo concert
13. Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant - (hmmmmm....)
14. In Focus - Art treasures of the NY Metropolitan
15. Blue Oyster Cult - A Long Days Night - 2002 concert
16. Bikini Destinations - France
17. Full Metal Jacket - featuring Gunnery Sergeant Hartman!
18. Carrie - the original
19. Taxi Driver
20. NY Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox
21. The Who Live at the Isle of Wight
22. NBA - Sacramento vs Phoenix
23 NY Yankees vs. Baltimore
None of these may be your cup of tea but I find that with all of this content, plus more, on just 4 channels in the next 3 days, my Voom withdrawal syndrome is slowly coming under control. No, there is no Kung Fu or Monsters, still will miss that, but this programming fills the Rave and Equator void at least in part. And yes, the PQ is just as good. I seriously doubted any cable could even come close to satellite but I am blown away by TWC's HD quality. And IMHO, their SD picture is even better than the majority of Vooms SD. Not bashing, still gonna miss her but reality is reality.
Their is one huge high-end audio/video store here in San Antonio call Bjorn's. I always wondered why they chose TWC to be their provider to demo their HD sets, vs. one of the satellites, especially Voom. Now I know.
