We're in the process of moving and I'm not sure if we'll be able to get Dish at our apartment. The other buildings might be blocking the angle/elevation needed.

I read that with Dish Mover, you take your receiver and remote with you. I was wondering, would I be able to watch the programs I recorded on my DVR without being hooked up to the satellite dish?

Basically, hook it up to my TV, watch the rest of my recorded programs, then return the receiver and remote to Dish if I can't get the correct angle/elevation at my new apartment. Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't have to have it connected, I know i've watched DVR programs off the 510 when it wasn't connected to the satellite...

Garys' answer is correct & Purogamers is correct for his model. Try unplugging your receiver from the satellite and see if you can still watch the recorded programs.

Will this dual Vip622 install work for me?

Have you heard of this 622 HDMI problem?
