hello all, well i have two dual receivers in my house, so that means only two wires from outside are running to my house. 1 wire upstairs 1 wire downstairs. that wire then is split into two, one wire for the receiver and the other for the 2nd tv (no receiver) i tried to run a box to the tv that does not have a receiver but it wont catch anything. so i guess what im asking,
is there anyway to split one line to run two receivers? i drew as best i could of my set up i have now. please someone help

if you look at the pic i drew, the line spilts as soon as it enters the house, this is where i want to remove the split dish set up and split the line how i want

You can not operate a TV that is not connected to a receiver. It looks like your are wanting to split a sat feed directly to TV2 which is not a sat tuner, thus dead.

Wow, that drawing was killer on my eyes for some reason. Not to mention that honestly, I am having a hard time following it on the bottom half, I just can glean what some of those boxes are supposed to represent.

Anyways, from what I gather, you have a dish500? Without knowing what LNB you have, I'd venture to saw you'll need a DPP44 switch so you can minimize the runs and still use the DPP seperator. Not sure what you want to do on the 3rd tv, or if you use the dual tuner box in single mode or not. From the looks, you want to be able to tune the 3rd tv seperately and maintain the dual tuner on 1 tv so you can watch and record at the same time on that tv.

If you can take the time to post your equipment and what how many outputs on your LNB, then we can help you a bit more precisely.
