Would like to include 61.5 to my SuperDish (4 satellite locations).

I have SuperDish (110,119,121) with a DPP34 switch connected to my DVR921.

Would like to add a separate 18 dish (which I still have) for 61.5. Presently my spare LNBs are legacy but I understand they wouldn't work with the DishPro plus series that my SuperDish has. So I expect I'll have to buy a dishpro LNB. I'm hoping to avoid buying the DPP44 because it cost $200. Is there a cheaper (less than $100) alternative? I still have two SW21 switches if they're of any use.

Unless the DP21 allow to be cascaded off the DP34 like the SW21 use to be off the SW64, nope.

Does it? i don't know

There's a thread by the "mad scientist" that was able to do 5 orbitals without the DPP44, lemme look...

The DP21 will work with the DP34 or DPP44 and a Single/Dual LNBF.

The DP34/DPP44 MUST be on DP21 input port #1.

This is a good solution if you only need the fourth bird on one or two boxes.

So I'll need to buy a DP21 switch and a DishPro single LNB. Then connect the 61.5 dish to the DP21 which connects to #1 input of the DP34. Obviously the cable already connected to #1 would be moved to the other input of the DP21 as well.

And when using the DP+44, don't put the DP21 between the power inserter and the DP+44 or you will fry the DP21.

Correct. The power inserter must be:
  • on output port #1 of the DPP44
  • closer to the switch than ANY other device except a special high-current diplexer
