Wanna pick up 129, use a 18" D* dish?

I have a D* 18" that was used to pick up my 72.5 locals, could this be used instead of buying a 500?

Only if you had Legecy Lnbs which is not likely since you are a new install... plus a Dish 500 would be much better for 129 as it is an old satellite and the signals fluctuate... (Dish uses a D mount for the Lnb where Directs uses a rectangular mount)

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure before I ordered the 500. Looks like the AT9 and the 18" are going to the dump tomorrow.

Don't take them to the dump... put them in the classifieds... I could use an AT9 as I am using a Phase III...
