I remember reading a post a few months ago that said if a network does not approve or deny a waiver request, you get the network that you requested... Is this true or not?

*I called customer service a couple of weeks ago and the gentleman put in a waiver for NYC/NBC, CBS, and Fox... This isn't HD, just regular SD channels.

Thanks.

Waiver Request

It isn't Dish Netowrk that has to approve your waiver request. It's the networks themselves that approve them. If THEY do not respond to the waiver request within 45 days, then Dish CAN give you the network.

The local affilate of the network I am requesting, or the affiliate closest to my home??

Okay, I just checked my waiver request online and found that ABC, and CBS approved my request - NBC denied my request and FOX is still pending... So it was rather quick for those three networks...
