vs2000

Hello, I would like to know if a new vs2000 should show DiSqec 1.2. I can only choose DiSqec 1.0 from the menu. After I lined up AMC 5 and scanned for channels I chose telstar5. The HH rotor does not turn, although I can turn the rotor under user mode but not installer mode. Am I going to have to somehow identify every sat on the menu, scan for channels, than choose a channel before the rotor turns automatically. Thanks in advance
