Voom Stealth Antenna? Read This

Make sure your installer gives you the plug-in part of your 3038 pre-amp card. You'll need it if you decide to drop Voom to get the same quality OTA signal. When you drop Voom, they will take the STB, splitter, remote and inside cables. They will remove the antenna and dish, only if you ask. My signal dropped dramatically when I attached the cable to my Hitachi TV. I, unfortunately, also threw out the amp! Doh. I plan on asking the installer on Tuesday that does my deinstall if he will give me one since the Voom STB doesn't need it.
