My neighbors tree fell during a storm a few days ago, and since all
of my dishes are ground based, i either wait for him to make the tree
disappear, or till it turns into a brown mass because it is currently
blocking 61.5. Dish told me that voom on 129 requires an mpeg4 receiver.
Is that true, or can i point an extra dish at 129 and have it work with
a 6000 and a 942??

The newer VOOM channels require a MPEG-4 reciever, but they are on both the 122 and the 61.5. Since you have a 942, you weren't receiving them anyway so the 129 should work for what you were getting from the 61.5.
