[VOOM] Newbie

Hi Guys, my name is Nancy.
I'm using by brothers yahoo profile ,while he's away on vacation to
ask a few questions.
I'm getting VOOM installed on Monday the 11th, since I live in VA. I
havent seen his VOOM system in the flesh.
Basically I wanted opinions on channels I'm eagerly awaiting.
What are your thought's on the following?
Monsters , Rave , Rush ,Ultra ,Equator & Animania.
My brother loves VOOM and hopefully I will too

Equator is a lot like HD National Geographic would be. It's great and about as good as a picture can get. Equator and Discovery HD are the best picture viewing. If you can get PBS HD off the air that pretty much covers the Nature and World travel part of the HD spectrum.

Rave is great for HD music concerts. PBS' Soundstage has a lot of their shows replayed here and repeated often enough that you will eventually catch what you were looking for. I ahve yet to figure out how to get an advanced schedule of this channel though and it would be real helpful.

My grandkids love Animania for its widescreen HD.

I've watched Rush occassionally and it's pretty interesting.
