[VOOM] My STB has lost its mind completely

This morning the light was red and the screen was popping back and forth
between the show and the guide every second. A full cycle of the unit made
it go away temporarily but its back. This might be the final straw. My
wife is pissed. Anyone?

Mine did the same thing this morning. A re-boot took care of it, but I
didn't watch much longer to see if the problem came back.

Same thing happened to me this morning. I had to re-boot. Hope it doesn't happen again. First time I ever saw it do that.

Same thing happened to me too. My post in Sat guys:

Early this am, my VOOM started going wacko. Any time I select the
PG, PG appears but the preview window alternates between the movie
and a blank preview window. Channel is locked, ch up/down doesn't
work,and the back key doesn't work.

Recovery requires a hard boot (unplug). Then the programming works
fine with ch up/down or direct tune (number entry). This continues
until I select PG again when it locks up as before.

Has anyone else seen this? My screen still showed V6.20.

I had the same problem. I did a full cold boot and the problem went away and stayed away, at least until I left for work. Oddly enough I didn't lose the PG.
