[VOOM] Install Scheduled for Saturday and Voom may be closed in 30 days

Tough question based on the latest announcement, but if you are curious
about what VOOM is all about you only have $1 at risk. If they go under you
can say you were a subscriber. This era will have a historical significance
in the future of media communications and TV. On the other hand, VOOM might
decide to cease new installs if this is really it. I don't believe Dolan
was given enough time to come up with financing.

I'm very curious to know what will happen to us folks under the 6 month
contract if they do cease operations?

I am also curious to see what will happen with the 6 month
commitment. I also have Dirct TV HD which I was going to cancel on
Saturday after the install. I guess I will hang on to Direct for a
bit now.

Why cancel. IF Voom goes belly up you'll probably get to keep the
receiver as a souvenir. IF they get the receiver back you still get
that nice OTA antenna and a spare dish/lnbf - all for just a buck!
