power. Maybe you were "lucky" enough to have yours go out!
We did keep our VOOM sat signal last night at least while we were
watching from 8 on even with our 18" antenna. May have lost the
signal in the middle of the night when it really poured but...didn't
check it out. We had a sat signal quality of 87/88. However, we did
get the "grey screen of death" when first turning VOOM on and had to
do a power button reset.
You should be VOOMing in 3 days! Hope all works out. Oh, forgot to
mention yesterday that it is a good idea to check antennaweb.org which
will tell you the orientation of the digital OTA signal from your
house. Ch. 7 is different from 5 is different from 9, etc. Also,
depending on which Seattle "hill" you are behind you may or may not be
able to receive all the local digital signals. Luckily, we in Seattle
get feeds from all the networks.
Have fun!
