In this week’s podcast we have an Olympic sized show as Scott and Bob are in Awe of the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. In the spirit of competition we continue the show with the HD war and the numbers associated with the war as both satellite companies had their earnings call this week. Great as always.

Not to nitpick, but Dish had more than 10 HD channels a year ago (around 15:00). We had the Voom 15, plus several others.

But both companies have grown since then, no doubt.

Just an FYI, on the E* VoD where they're downloading movies to the harddrive and then looking at ch 501 for what movies are there. DirecTV was doing that last month or so on their DVR's. They were downloading 10 movies to the Movies tab on the playlist, all the ones on the HD DVR's have expired and they haven't replaced them but the my SD DVR still has 10 movies out there.
