Volume Override

Some info I thought I'd throw out since search results didn't pull up anything.

This is for customers who wish to use their TV as a monitor and control all volume through their stereo.

To put in AUX Mode Volume Override:

Press and hold AUX mode button until all buttons light up
Press #
Press Volume +
Press 0
Press #

Now you can stay in satellite mode and the volume control now controls your stereo instead of the TV.


To put back in TV default mode:

Press and hold TV mode button until all buttons light
Press #
Press Volume +
Press 0
Press #

Yep, that's how I have mine set up. Works great.

Yup I've had mine set that way also...

The only thing that stinks for me, is on the Sammy DLP you can bring up the source menu, but the selection is mapped to the volume + button, so you can't select inputs with this trick....
