hahaha! When I went to stream a news feed this morning VLC had a festive little Santa hat on the orange cone! Never noticed that yesterday.

Yep, this has been an "Easter egg" within the program for several years. The Santa hat makes an appearance one week before Christmas and usually lasts until one week after Christmas.

You can disable the hat, if you wish.
