I see that Visionsat has mentioned about IV 300 on their website, could not find it listed in of of their delears website, does anybody know when this is going to be available ? Are there any major improvements and new features over the IV 200 ?

most of the improvements on the 300 have already been implemented on the 200
the big ones that the 300 had but the 200 did not until a software upgrade
-Timeshifted internal buffer of 40-50 minutes..the 200 doesn't have this. You need a thumb drive or an external hard drive
-recording and time shifting simultaneous..the 200 does that now
-recording and playback simultaneous..the 200 does that now
other than more channel capacity (10000 vs 5000) thats about it now

The IV-200 is a great box, and, although it still has a few minor, annoying bugs, the developers seem committed to continued work on new firmware. I don't think I could go back to my Pansat 2700 as a primary receiver now, I'm so spoiled
