I am setting up my own VIP722 receiver. Receivers I currently have are not hooked up to phone or internet- I pay the 5.00 per month.
set up was moving along fine but then it came to the part where it tests the phone line and broadband connection. Ran a ethernet cable over to the box, hooked it up but says it can not find the connection. I am guessing that the network connection needed setup using the menu buttons, but now, I can not get it off that page to go back to the setup menu.
Everything else has been setup, just can not get off to try and set up the broadband connection.
Tried unplugging receiver, let it sit for a long time, plugged it in and came right back to that page. Tried holding the power button in, still came back to that page.
How would I go about starting completely over, erasing everything there and starting from scratch so I can set up the broadband connection.
