VIP722 and OTA digital stations

Sometimes all my OTA digital stations show zero signal strength. All of them. The analog stations work. I reboot the VIP722 and everything is fine. The VIP622 doesn't seem to have this problem. "John"

It could be a bad wire going to the 722 or a software glitch that the reboot fixes. But the 722 ota does not have an analog tuner so what do you mean by the analog stations work?

For example on channel 11. Channel 11 works (vhf?) sub-channels 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 show no signal strength and a blank screen. "John"

If the channel is listed as 011-00, that is a mapped down Dish Network supplied local. It could be sd or HD or both depending on how you have your receiver setup, but it is not analog via your ota antenna.

Mapped down Dish Network supplied locals? My wife's 622 didn't have those channel #'s until I hooked her up to the OTA. She would have to go to 9110 etc. for the Dish supplied locals. "John"

The screen that adds the ota channels also enables the map down feature. It is very easy to active the mapping thinking it has to do with ota.
