VIP622 - Pausing Live Program

Recently, while pausing football games, the DVR skips to LIVE. Very annoying, I tried to back up to the same spot and start watching and a couple minutes in, would skip to live.

I hope I don't have a bad spot on my drive. Anyone else experiencing this?

Is it a local channel? We had the same problem in Oklahoma City area about a month ago. It didn't happen on OTA or SD channel only the HD channel (Same channel).

I called Dish complained, and after about a week it was fixed. I was thinking it was my unit, but alas it was something to do with they way the TV station was sending the HD signal.

It won't hurt to call them and let them know.

Had that problem, started with OTA then kept getting worse. Finally had to get a new receiver. The buffer apparently corrupted
