Vip 622 Question About Uhf Remote

Have vip 622 receiver and 2 remote regular tvs hooked up. Can you have 2 UHF remotes (one for each remote tv)???

I understand you can't watch anything different. Just don't want to walk up and downstairs just to get remotes...

Yes. Just make sue they are on the same address

Yes - just set them to the same UHF address as per the documentation & they will both control the 622's TV2 Tuner AOK.

yes you can... you can have as many uhf remotes as you want to control each tuner. The just have to be set to the same remote code.

Yes... which is why a neighbor with the same UHF remote for his own receiver will also operate yours unless you change the default code to something different. Can be quite annoying when The Sopranos suddenly changes to Encore Romance. Then you change it back. Then the neighbor changes it again. War of the Remotes!

Does anyone have any idea how to strengthen the remote signal? The 625 is in my son's room with the second TV output in our master bedroom. My wife and I have to postion the remote at just the right spot just to change the channel...very frustrating.

if you are having problems, i would definately give it a try... it works well.
it will be like you are in the room with the receiver.
