VIP 622 Guide Malfunction

Greetings all. I have arrived at my first problem w/ my 622 since installing it in March. The guide is showing "no info available" except for the current hour block. This does continually change. For instance: it is 7:55 now & the 7:30 to 8:00 block shows guide info & 9:00 on does not. As soon as 9:00 gets here, that block (either 1/2 hr or hr, depending on the shows) fills in. This started yesterday @ about 1PM and I rebooted (just holding the pwr button) but it didn't fix it. I also left it off all night but it is still doing the same thing. Also, if it shows info for a 8:30 show & I'm watching an 8:00 show, I cannot hit select on the 8:30 show to set a timer.

I have software version L405

Anyone know of a way I can force a guide download?

To force a guide download. You need to run a check switch Menu-6-1-1. Once you exit and the satellite acquisition is complete the new guide data will download.

Update: It works! Thanks so much for the help, I just did the power button reboot on it because my old 311's go through the guide download after that. Anyways, thanks again for helping me get back in business.
