VIP 622 DVR Help

Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to transfer DVR recording from my receiver's USB port to my laptop computer. I am wondering if anyone could help me with the technical aspects of this, as I've not a clue. Thank you.

Not possible to transfer via USB to computer now...

You could connect a DVD recorder to the 622, burn the DVD then put it on the laptop.
