VIP 211 W/external hard drive has random reboots

My roughly 10 year old VIP211 has started to have random reboots..anyone else have this issue?

If the receiver is rebooting on its own, it may be overheating or stuck in recovery mode.

10 yrs?? Sounds like it's getting ready to call it a decade. You sure got some good mileage with that one.

So did I. My ViP211 lasted ten years and two months, before it finally died earlier this month.

my tivo started doing random reboots. then the hard drive crashed......
