well still no dish yet, but.....

Still have the VS2000.

I also just got a ABR202A 1RU Rack mount Mpeg SCPC Receiver and a Brand New in Box Digital Ready Phase Locked C band LNB.

Best of all they were freeee

just wish i could score a feedhorn and dish.

my engineer friend says there is lots of unencrypted audio to listen to.

i have access to lots of dishes and horns, but they are huge. and i mean huge. talking CATV head end Huge.

don't think i will be dragging any of those home any time soon.

They don't have an 8-10' dish to spare? lol
Look around for a used primestar dish, a lot of us use them and love them. Maybe an ad on Craigslist might help your hunting.

In the mean time why not put an 18" dish on it to get NASA off 119W.
There is also a 6 in on channel on 110W.

6 in one, I think he means. A preview channel for dishnetwork. It may be unscrambled, I never looked for it but remember it from the days I had Dishnetwork subbed.

oh ok. I have a lnb pointed at 110 and I never saw anyting there other than preview channels.

I disconnected the LNB from the STB as there was nothing there from me.

On 119W there is ION, NASA and Angel One.

yeah I left the 119 lnb hooked up as we watch ION quite a bit.
