Anyways there's deals all day but the DOTD is Assassin's Creed: Syndicate for 50% off as well as discounts on the "Complete" edition

Well this is an interesting campaign from Square-Enix... For $9.99 you'll get a "Holiday Surprise Box" which will feature 5 games valued at over $80. The games won't be revealed until after the promotion is over.

Hmm.... I don't normally like the idea of paying for mystery games when various retailers do this kind of thing. If it includes the full version of Life is Strange it would be well worth it to me regardless of which other games are included. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing whether that will happen and I already own most of the other Square Enix games I would be interested in.

Not to mention the fact that Life is Strange was on sale for the same price last week as the package last week. I wouldn't be surprised if they included the whole thing but lord knows what the other games are. It would be cool if it had Life Is Strange along with all the Final Fantasy games, but I think that would be wishful thinking. I wouldn't mind getting FF7/8 and 13 (well okay I can live without 13) in a package.

Remember the Neo Geo? Well if you don't it's understandable, but if you were into fighting games during the 90s you knew about them and SNK. Some good deals in this week's PSN Holiday Sale. Unfortunately, I picked up the Tales from the Borderlands season pass 10 days ago for twice as much as it's being offered this week.

The deal that caught my eye was the Season Pass for Game of Thrones for $5 for PS4 PS+. I am a little confused though.. why does the game cost more on PS4 than PS3? That seems to happen quite often where the same game is more expensive on older hardware. Seems like a slap in the face to those that can't afford to upgrade yet.

Battlefront is on sale at Gamestop today. You can get discounts on ALL the editions, from $40 for standard edition to $80 for game + Season pass. If you really want this game and all the content, $30 off the "complete" edition is pretty tempting.

Also, literally EVERY vendor (Amazon, Gamestop, Microsoft Store, Best Buy) has Xbox One bundles for $50 off. Just go to the desired vendor.

I thought that was odd too that GoT season pass cost more on PS3 ($6.25) than on PS4 in this sale ($5). The Tales from the Borderlands price is the same on both systems ($3.75), so I assumed it was a mistake.

I finally grabbed GoT (on PS4, of course), but it's been so long since I played episode 1 (when it was first offered free), that I'll need to replay it before continuing on.

Pretty good deal, but honestly you're probably better off waiting because they do sales constantly and have 2 big releases coming out soon (Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle Remastered), and I'm willing to bet money that in the next year that the majority (if not all) of these games are going to be put up on a Humble Bundle because Psychonauts 2 is going to need more funding, as Tim Shafer has proven again and again that he's as good at resource management as the platforming sections are at the end of Psychonauts (seriously, it's a fantastic game but the Meat Circus really may go down as one of the worst levels in the history of gaming.)
