Viacast 2000 help

Hey I got viacast fta receiver and I need some info on it if could help or anyone could help it would be so much help? THANX!

Its a nice little receiver, but has some major limitations

How to set it up (depending on what setup you have)...I think you said you have a 18" dish and LNB. You can get the audio channels on ExpressVu & Dish Network

The key thing to remember is you have to add 3 zeroes after the frequency and LO

Setup would be as such (a lot of this is off of memeory so I cant remember the exact names)

channel 0,1,2, etc
LO is 10750000 for FTA (30" dish) or 11250000 (for DBS)...you would use the 2nd
Polarity...R is 14, H is 18
Frequency would be whatever you find off of Lyngsat...as an example, TP1 is 12224 so you would put 12224000
SR would be 20000 (again, this is off Lyngsat)
Diseqc would be off unless you have a switch

Thanx for the help and now all I'll have do is find 30" or bigger dish w/lnb.
What would you think that be a good one?

I like the Winegard 30" dish as its a bit more solid than say the 30" hotdish and the elevation settings are a bit easier to set, as for the LNB a standard Ku band LNB would be a good choice!
