In section B on the info screen are two unsuspicious number that actually refers to “Lost Locks”, which I can only assume means the number of times my remanufactured 722 has lost signal with a satellite.

Normally, I could see that over the course of a 24 hour period tuner 1 would show a 3 or 4 and tuner 2 would show a 7 or 8. However, lately, and for no weather or tree blocking signal related reason, these numbers have skyrocket.

This mornings numbers are for tuner 1 is 37 and tuner 2 is 124, while my 211’s is merely a 3. Is this something I should be worried about?

i would worry if you notice the problem. take off the SAT IN cables and reconnect them that might help out some. back in the day when lnb drift was an issue, i saw someone who had 8,928 signal losses from 6 am until 5 pm.

I have right now 39/99 lost locks on my counter screen right now on my 722k. I saw a clock counting down on my screen the other day telling me a show was going to record. I checked the other tuner using pip and I saw a frozen picture on it. My timer kicked in and the channel changed to something else and it started recording. Now if that show had been on that channel I am betting I wouldn't get a recording . I never noticed that many lost locks on my older dvrs using just a dish 500 and the side sat for 61.5 . Since I got the 1000.2 sat dish and the 1000.4 sat dish I had for a while, I have notice the lost locks have skyrocketed. My parents have the same thing on their 1000.2 sat dish and 622 recevier. It might be related to the triple lnb dishes or it might have something to do with the dual ota tuner ? Maybe when my 722k changes to ota it loses the lock on the sat?

Can a 522 See 129?
